Sexuality World Diversity

Despite the popularity of sport, NASCAR has often been described by critics as a white man's sport. With the exception of a few pioneers, such as ESPN NASCAR analyst and Former NBA All-Star Brad Daugherty, which contains most of the coverage of racing, very few faces of color or women.

However, NASCAR's diversity at the top the agenda for the sport has been in the last six seasons as a result of its Drive for Diversity initiative. The program aims to minority and female drivers and crew members to develop and give them the opportunity to compete against the established NASCAR talent.

Such individual utilization of NASCAR Diversity is 19-year-old racing sensation Michael Cherry, who in his second year of the Drive for Diversity program, and recently was with Nationwide Insurance.

"It's an honor to support Michael Cherry, as he works his way into NASCAR, "said Nationwide agent Carlo White." This sponsorship is an excellent opportunity for Nationwide to support diversity in racing to and that something that is very important to us. Michael is a very promising young racers and is a great representative of Kroger brand. "

Cherry, a Valrico, Florida native, was fourth in the forefront of the placement of his rookie season in 2008. He will race for motorsport in Addis Greenville-Pickens (SC) Speedway.
